Donation Request for the Construction
And Renovation of Masjids in Rural Sindh.
On behalf of the Best Cause Foundation, I would like to present a heartfelt request for your support in the reconstruction and renovation of masjids in the rural areas of Sindh, Pakistan. Many of these masjids, which are essential to the spiritual and educational lives of the villagers, have fallen into a state of disrepair, and the local communities lack the resources to restore them.
Project Overview
During our recent visit to several villages in remote parts of Sindh, we observed that many of the masjids are in dilapidated condition and are no longer safe or suitable for worship. These masjids also function as educational centers for children, providing them with a space to learn religious teachings and basic literacy. However, the villagers, who depend on subsistence farming and other low-income sources, do not have the means to rebuild or renovate these structures.
The Need for Reconstruction and Renovation
The masjids serve as the heart of the community, being the primary places of worship and gathering, as well as the centers of education for the local children. Without proper repair, these essential community buildings could become unusable, further isolating the villagers from educational and spiritual opportunities.
Scope of the Project
We have identified the following needs for the villages.
- Reconstruction of Dilapidated Masjids:
Full reconstruction is required for several masjids that are in dangerous structural condition.
- Renovation and Repairs:
For other masjids, repairs to walls, roofs, and basic infrastructure are needed to make them safe and functional again.
- Providing Basic Facilities:
Many of these masjids lack basic amenities such as water supply, toilets, and electricity. These are essential for both the villagers and the children who attend daily lessons.
Objectives of the Project:
- Restoring Places of Worship:
To ensure that villagers have a safe, dignified place to perform their daily prayers.
- Providing Educational Spaces:
To rebuild or renovate spaces that serve as madrasahs where children can receive religious and basic education.
- Strengthening Community Bonds:
Masjids act as central gathering places, fostering unity and community spirit, which is essential for the development of these villages.
Budget Estimate
Here is a detailed cost breakdown for the Revolution of Masjid in Sindh, Pakistan, covering a total area of 78 square yards.

Covered Area: 16 square yards
Veranda: 42 square yards Toilets: 10 square yards
Wudu Area: 8 square yards

Plumbing: Covers installation of pipes, taps, toilets, and Wudu area fittings. Electric: Includes wiring, lighting fixtures, fans, motor pump, Solar panels, batteries and electrical outlets. Sound System: Cost for the installation of a basic sound system for the mosque. Furniture Includes doors, windows, shelves, desks and mimbar. Carpet: Covers the purchase and installation of mosque carpets for the covered area and veranda. Paint: Includes interior and exterior painting for walls, ceilings. |
